René Magritte Workshop – Sunday 9th October 2011

DaDa – Disability and Deaf Arts and Tate Liverpool are running a one day workshop for 13-19 year olds.  The workshop will give you the opportunity to visit a leading arts venue and work with a professional artist.

The workshop will be based around the work of René Magritte. In the morning you will receive a guided tour around the Magritte exhibition at Tate Liverpool. In the afternoon artist Ross Clark will lead a workshop in response to the Magritte work in a 2D format.

The workshop will take place on Sunday 9th October from 10.30am to 5pm at Tate Liverpool, Albert Dock. Travel and any access support will be provided if required. Lunch will be provided.

Please note we only have ten spaces on the workshop for participants so if we are oversubscribed we will choose successful participants on the strength of their applications.

If you would like to take part in the project you will need to show us that you have a passion for visual arts.  Please complete an application form accompanied by an image of one of your artworks and return to [email protected]  or Sam Wade, DaDa – Disability and Deaf Arts, the Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BX. Applications must be received before 4pm on Friday 23rd September 2011.
