Young DaDa Exhibition
FACT Liverpool
Tuesday 15th November - Monday 5th December 2011

An exhibition to celebrate the creative achievements of young disabled and deaf people aged 13-19 in visual arts workshops run by DaDa during 2011. Works on display by the young people include collage, painting, photography and animation.
DaDa has collaborated with Tate Liverpool and FACT to run two visual arts projects this year: Another Perspective with Tate Liverpool and FACT and René Magritte with Tate Liverpool. The young people’s response to the Sense of Perspective exhibition explored how artworks create different perspectives, and the work produced at the René Magritte workshop were inspired by Magritte’s use of objects, picking up on imaginative themes important to the young people.
The exhibition will be held on the first floor at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), 88 Wood Street, Liverpool, L1 4DQ and open from Monday to Saturday: 10.00am - 9.00pm, Sunday: 11.00am - 9.00pm. Entry is free. For more information on visiting FACT, visit their website.
The exhibition and the workshops have been made possible by funding from Youth Opportunities Fund and Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales.
