Sally Booth
Arts Award
Sally Booth is a visual artist specialising in drawing and painting. She completed a BA and MA in Fine Art at Bristol and Wimbledon School of Art. She has exhibited her work regularly across the UK, including at South Bank Centre, Whitechapel Art Gallery and Sadlers Wells, and internationally in Japan and Singapore.
She has undertaken residencies with the Art House in Wakefield, Holton Lee, and was the recipient of the Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary at the Bluecoat in Liverpool in 2009.
Sally has a background in arts management and gallery education, with particular interest in promoting more inclusive and creative access for deaf and disabled people. Her experience has included working for many years as Arts Development Manager for Shape, facilitating and developing access workshops for Whitechapel Art Galley, acting on Tate access group and as auditor for the Museums Libraries and Archives Jodi awards. She is currently an artist advisor for Dada South and is a board member for Digital Works.
