About Heavy Load
Heavy Load, from Brighton, are a punk band which formed in 1996.
Known for their chaotic and energetic sets and featured in the award winning documentary, also called ‘Heavy Load', they play all over the UK. They also played this year's Glastonbury as well as Berlin and New York.
They provided the theme tune for the Channel 4 series ‘Cast Offs' and are working on their third album.
They are the people behind the Stay Up Late campaign and the series of Wild Things albums, showcasing the work of other musicians with learning disabilities.
