I'm a photographer/digital artist. I was blind for 18 months but stuck with photography creating unique images. When I regained my sight I kept the 'blind photography' style as my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome makes it hard to hold a camera. I am creating Digital Portraits of Disability that show people's experience of living with a disability. I want these to show disabilities aren't as stereotypical as the media portrays. I describe my art for visually impaired people including colour and shape (unlike many venues who think blind people don't care about these).
