Dana's Note
Hello lovelies,
From our office we can see the various new buildings and opportunities rising up all around in the city, often inspiring but this morning I was baffled by a huge model bull dangling from one office ceiling- apparently it's a new restaurant! And while we're back onto my favourite subject of food, here's some of the juicy bits we've got for you this week.
Yours, Dana

Sustained Theatre
Sustained Theatre is the result of Baroness Lola Young's ‘Whose Theatre...?' report which highlighted the need to develop the infrastructure for the Black, Asian and minority ethnic sector. It is an informal network of artists and companies tasked with taking forward the recommendations of the report. The ‘Making Spaces' project is one of its five key work streams and is intended to address the need to create access to spaces for the Sector to develop work. Sustained Theatre is now issuing a Call for Partners to assemble a national network of spaces for the Sector. Sustained Theatre wants to establish relationships with existing buildings or organisations with the appropriate facilities (not necessarily arts venues - anywhere with the right spaces will be considered); or partner with projects under development in which it might take a greater role and develop specifically for the sector. A copy of the Call for Proposals can be downloaded from www.sustainedtheatre.org.uk or obtained by email from david.beidas@sky.com. Deadline for responses: Monday 29 March 2010
