BODY GOSSIP National Writing Competition
Do you have a story about your body? Earlier this year, a cast of celebrities including Natalie Cassidy, Anne Diamond, Nikki Grahame, Shobna Gulati and Ewen MacIntosh performed a selection of these real stories to two sell-out audiences in London , in an event called Body Gossip. These evenings raised money and awareness for Beat (the UK's leading eating disorders association), and since then Body Gossip has been mentioned on This Morning, Loose Women, Heat, Closer, Reveal, Now and The Mirror. Body Gossip is turning out to be an incredibly powerful campaign, but it can only get bigger with your help. Body Gossip needs your stories - your thoughts, your arguments, your opinions, your celebrations about your body.Your story could be performed live on stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and then the West End , by a celebrity cast, to raise money for Beat. And shout a powerful message of solidarity and reassurance in the battle for realistic beauty. To submit your story, and to read about the terms and conditions, please go to www.bodygossip.org.
