Young People’s Arts

This has to be the most exciting element of our work to date! Since 2002, we have been developing arts project by and with young people, disabled, deaf and non-disabled/hearing people. To date over 1,000 young people have been on arts projects such as Dance, Djing, Film making, Poetry, Theatre, Writing and Music. All the project ideas have come from a working group of young people from across the city. A result of this work has been the annual delivery of Young DaDaFest – a celebration and showcase event where students can win a DaDaAward. Funded by Liverpool's Childrens Fund, the work is now being continued by Shaun Curtis as Arts Officer – Young DaDa-Disability & Deaf Arts.
